There are a total of two 3,800-space car carriers built at CMI Haimen Base. The construction of "Tang Hong" Steamship started on November 15, 2019, and the construction of the sister ship "Mao Hong" Ship started on April 1, 2020.

On March 30, 2021, the delivery and naming ceremony of the first 3,800-space large coastal ro-ro ship "Tang Hong" of China Merchants Energy Shipping was held at No. 1 Wharf of CMI Haimen Base.
